She was once called an anarchist agitator, a title she holds dear.
Melanie Czarnik
Melanie Czarnik is a Luxembourg-based journalist and author who dissects the mechanics of power, control, and the unspoken rules that shape human behavior. Her fiction lingers in the gray zones—where morality blurs, where systems falter, where people reveal who they truly are.

Oana Marangoci
Oana is from Romania and has been living in Luxembourg since 2008. In 2014, following personal upheaval, she embarked on a transformative path, exploring various forms of expression ranging from public speaking and comedy to dramatic storytelling. The pandemic proved to be probably the most productive creative period for her. Besides fidgeting with crochet, drawing and watercolour, after completing Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way programme she rekindled her lifelong passion for storytelling through writing. Since then Oana has written a significant number of short and not-so-short stories, a few poems, two plays and a shelf-ful of journals.
The Wordsmith
Andrea is a true wordsmith and has writing in the blood, from her father and her father’s father to as far back as there has been ink and parchment. She grew up in a posh part of south-east England, but can trace her roots right back to one of the Norman knights who fought under William the Conqueror in 1066. Some 934 years later Andrea moved to Luxembourg, where she continued wrangling with words and found new creative inspiration, winning several awards. She edits and writes professionally and particularly loves abridging and fine-tuning texts (“Précis was my favourite English subject at school; I was considered SO weird!”) She is a proud founder-member of Writers Who Talk, a vibrant non-profit platform offering innovative mentoring and support for the creative writing network in Luxembourg and further abroad. Andrea is currently working on the group’s first anthology alongside her own collection of poetry and a slick murder-mystery novel. She adores fine wine, fine words and fine cats and lives by the motto There's no such thing as too much garlic.

The illustrator - Ane Marcussen Erézué
Hello, I’m Ane Marcussen Erézué, freelance writer and illustrator, verbal and visual storyteller. I used to teach French and Theatre and have also translated and worked in editing, but stories kept filling my head and drawers, so when I discovered that I had a hearing problem, I decided to listen to the stories. Now, I hold a BA (Hons) in illustration, a cosy studio at 1535° Creative Hub in Luxembourg and time to write and illustrate stories: mine and those of others.
